ABOUT

This co-design assignment was to create panels for use as demonstrative evidence in a courtroom. The plaintiff is a 14 year-old girl who suffered a right temporal lobe hematoma and resulting atrophy and cognitive impairment in addition to multiple facial fractures, and additional hematomas.

These panels were designed for use by the plaintiff. Design considerations focused on effective communication of anatomical injuries, representations that accurately portray brain scan data and physician's report, and creation of empathy for the plaintiff.
