TRANSPOSITION of the great arteries
Professor Dave Mazierski, 2015
Carbon Dust, Adobe Illustrator CC
The purpose of this project was to illustrate a gross anatomical pathology using a combination of carbon dust, a medium in the tradition of classical medical illustrators, and vector-based line graphics. This illustration shows a cross-section of the heart with the aorta and the pulmonary vein transposed, presented as a textbook page.
